QE's Wild Harvest LLC

Q-tip is the face and mascot of QE’s Wild Harvest! She is a Polish hen and the heart of our little family on the farm.

Q-tip came to us at just a few days old with a severe vitamin and nutrient deficiency. After a few weeks of care, her fun and quirky personality began to shine and she improved greatly. Unfortunately,
her pre-existing condition has caused long term effects – such as early onset arthritis and hormone imbalance.
Q-tip is now 3 years old and despite her ailments, she is thriving and loving life. She loves being involved with her human ‘flock’ and participating in their daily activities. She “inspects” the crops carefully to make sure they are of the best quality and vocalizes if she thinks the job isn’t being performed correctly.
She has shown us that despite whatever hand life deals us, we still have a choice in how we respond . . . and she chooses to respond in a beautiful way – with gumption!
